Saving Daisy is the sequel to an award-winning Netflix documentary called Audrie & Daisy. This sequel is a very emotional and deep documentary about a young woman named Daisy who has endured some of the worst physical and emotional trauma imaginable. The documentary follows Daisy through a new and unique form of PTSD and trauma treatment called Eye Movement Desensitization Reprocessing (EMDR) to unlock the layers of trauma from her dark and tragic past.
This documentary is an in-house production produced entirely by the amazing film team here at LMI. We ran a Kickstarter fundraising campaign and raised $30k in 40 days to shoot the documentary as well as covering Daisy’s treatment sessions. Our digital marketing team worked tirelessly promoting and creating advertisements and incentives for this campaign. We developed the website, ran the social media accounts and used our top-notch team of digital design experts to design branded images and clips regarding the project and the fundraiser.
Our film crew went out to Colorado for a 35-day shoot with our own high tech production equipment to film the entire process of her treatment. The documentary is now in post-production. Advertisement and promotion campaigns are being pushed out weekly garnering a heavy buzz for the film. We are currently shopping the product off to various high value distributors.
